Our students with teachers Miss Pączek and Mrs Reizer-Kidała went on an interesting trip around Rzeszów. The trip started in front of the school and the teachers with the students went to the center of Rzeszów and more specifically to see 17th century print showing the city of Rzeszów by the crossroads of Sokoła Street and Moniuszki Street. From that point we took a stroll through the streets of Rzeszów. Students received 'quests' about the legends and stories concerning the beginnings of the city and its first owners. The task for students was to find historical traces of our city on monuments, sculptures and buildings. Our students really liked the stroll as they had clues where to go in the materials they received and where they should pay special attention when looking at places of historical interest.
They discovered in their own cities places and things they were not aware of .
November 10th was a beautiful sunny day and thanks to this we could see wonderful shades of Polish autumn and as the temperature wasn’t too low after the stroll all the participants went for ice-cream. Click here to see the photos
