Podkarpackie Voivodeship or Podkarpacie Province (i also known as Subcarpathian Voivodeship, is a province, in extreme-southeastern Poland. Its administrative capital and largest city is Rzeszów.

 

 

 

Rzeszów is the biggest city in southeastern Poland with a population of 182,548 in 2013. It is located on both sides of the Wisłok River, in the heartland of the Sandomierska Valley. The city, which was granted a town charter in 1354, has been the capital of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship since 1999.
