Artistic workshops, decoupage, glass painting and sojourn and work on a Polish farm are the points of Polish culture which foreigners from Croatia, Greece and Spain will learn during the project visit in September.
We are happy to announce that 39 people - students and teachers from 3 European countries are coming. They will visit our area, spend time with Polish students and get to know about Polish history and culture. Their visit is a part of the European project. One of the aims of the project is to discover differences and similarities and abolish unfair stereotypes. Students from all partner schools have prepared special presentations about their region, tourist attractions, culture and habits.
Our guests will have a chance to see an artistic program about Polish legends and to get to know Polish folk dances and traditional attire.
During the visit guests will attend special workshops i.e. human Lego – “Let’s tell our story together”, Math in English and Arts as well. All the project tasks are prepared in English.
The program of the visit is really rich. Not only will they visit tourist attractions like Wieliczka Salt Mine and the Main Square in Cracow but also admire a multimedia fountain and the underground tourist route in Rzeszow and visit the castle in Łańcut. Students and teachers will see a Polish farm. They will have a chance to bake bread and see farmer’s work. All guests will be able to ride a horse and have a ride in horse-drawn carriages. The event on a farm will finish with a bonfire.
