The Europeans charmed by our school "10"
From 28th of September to 2nd of October the visitors from Spain, Greece and Croatia spent their time in our school. All of them enjoyed learning together at the school and getting knowledge about our country and its peculiarity.
The students from parter schools knew the Pythagoras' theorem at the maths lesson, which was taught in the English language. During the art workshop they were painting on the glass, traditional Polish ornaments. They created the comic book from Lego blocks, based on the legend of the Wawel dragon. Our visitors had a possibility to taste our traditional, Polish dishes and got some information about Rzeszow attires. They not only learned how to differentiate the kinds of grain but how to bake traditional Polish bread (which they liked very much). They had a chance to bake the loaf of traditional Polish bread on their own.
Outdoor games played at the bonfire joined everyone together and let them forget about culture differences. The students from all invited countries communicated perfectly and had a great fun together. They iniciated games, singing songs and dancing spontaneously. They will keep in mind "Zorba dance', done altogether. The guests rode horses and took part in a stroll in horse-drawn carragies. They made a picture from this trip with "decoupage" technique.
The visitors liked our modern, clean Rzeszow. They admired both Cracow and Lancut. During sightseeing of these places they had an opportunity to hear tales connected with the cities (about Wawel dragon, Kinga the Queen). The same legends were presented at the show which was performed especially for them. The audience liked the play, titled "The Red Hood", acted in the English language by the pupils from the second grade.
