On the 21st of March, The European School Day was held in our school. Each class was responsible for preparing in their classrooms presentations showing characteristic features of a certain country.
The pupils virtually visited each country getting to know the culture, map location, customs, traditions and the food.
Our students had a chance to learn about tourist attractions, taste some of the national dishes of the country as well as listen to traditional music.
During their ‘stroll’ through Europe students had to answer questions connected with the country visited.
At the end of The European Day there was a lottery for all the participating pupils in which they had an opportunity to win some prizes.
This year the first day of Spring was both education and a great fun.
Preparing classroom presentations took a lot of effort from the teachers, children and their parents too. All participants of The European Day took active part in that big event showing their ingenuity . At this moment we would like to thank, the pupils, the teachers and the parents for their time and involvement in preparing that Day. The European Day was organized with the cooperation of Regional Center of International Debate in Rzeszow and the European Information Office –Europe Direct (Regionalny Ośrodek Debaty Międzynarodowej w Rzeszowie i Punkt Informacji Europejskiej - Europe Direct).
